Faith in Action is seeking a Transportation Dispatcher.

Pay Rate: $16-$18/hour 
Position Type: Part Time - 6 hours/week M: 8:00am - 11:00am, W: 8:00am - 11:00am 

Role and Responsibilities

·         Answer phones
·         Receive ride requests
·         Call volunteers to fill needs
·         Maintain adequate records of scheduled rides and drivers; and make the director aware of any problems that might arise
·         Communicate with co-workers on interactions with receivers and volunteers to make sure all requests are handled.
·         Assist the director with events and day to day office tasks
·         Complete required training for future programs if necessary
·         Willingness to take on more responsibilities for future programs

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School Diploma

Preferred Skills

Office Experience
Quickbook Knowledge
Working with individuals of an advanced age

There is an opportunity for hours to increase and responsibilities to increase as we grow and start providing more programs or during annual events.
