DESCRIPTION:Tom Gillaspy\, the State Demographer\, will present information to the entire Red Wing Community. Tom has been the Minnesota State Demographer since 1979. His presentation will highlight the demographic trends that will have a significant impact on all of us in areas of education\, higher education\, welfare reform\, rural population changes\, labor shortages\, immigration\, housing\, government spending\, healthcare and the aging state workforce. His talk is very insightful and we are really encouraging businesses to have representatives at this meeting. We feel this information is so important\, we want to encourage the entire community to attend. Doors open at 4:00PM\, seating is first come\, first serve and beverages will be available. There are 466 seats in the Sheldon\, so get there early to get one! Tom's presentation will last about an hour and then we'll have   hour for questions\, so the event should finish approximately 6PM.
