Twin Bluff Water Treatment Plant Open House—October 24
The City of Red Wing Water Utility is hosting an open house at the Twin Bluff Water Treatment Plant (1468 Pioneer Road, approximately ¼ mile west of Twin Bluff Middle School) on October 24 from 9AM-3PM. Utility staff will be on hand to give tours of the treatment facility and discuss other programs and facilities within the water department. In addition to the tours, there will be displays and information about the Wellhead Protection Program, the computerized process operation and monitoring SCADA system, the recent rehabilitation of the Sand Hill Water Storage Reservoir, the water distribution hydraulic computer model and the quality control sampling and consumer confidence reporting.
