May 16—Spring Migration Bird Walk—7:30-9AM Take an early morning walk on the paved Goodhue Pioneer State Trail to hopefully glimpse some birds on their spring migration. The path is flat and paved, and the walk will last about 90 minutes at a leisurely pace. Meet at the trailhead off of Pioneer Road. Bring your binoculars if you have your own pair. A limited number of binoculars will be available to borrow, please contact the Park Naturalist to reserve your pair (ekaugustin@rwps.org). All ages welcome, but young birders must be able to use a quiet voice and have patience to stand in one place for 5-10 minutes.
