Soar with the Eagles at National Eagle Center
March 22 & 23—SOAR With the Eagles Festival. On March 22 the Center will host a special program exploring Bald Eagles and their symbolism throughout American culture. On March 23 guests can attend the Center’s fan-favorite live eagle program and learn many fascinating facts about eagles. Festival attendees will be able to view the newest exhibition” Clearing the Air” which explores the myths about eagles throughout the history of human civilization.
Watch our live Bald Eagle Cam---Observe eagle activity from the bank of the Mississippi River 24/7. Watch as bald eagles build their nests, perch for the winter and catch a nutritious meal.
Behind the Scenes Tour—These small group learning experiences for up to six people give you a chance to meet the birds up close, observe daily training and even create customized toys for the Ambassadors of your choice. Behind the Scenes tours are available for walk-ins daily at 2:15 or you can schedule your group in advance.
Season Open—Daily 10AM- 4PM—Behind the Scenes Tours available as a walk-in experience at 2PM on a first-come, first served basis. We also feature classroom eagle programs at 1PM with an additional program at 11 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
