Twin Bluffs Water Treatment Plant—Public Open House & Tour
October 29, 9AM—3PM--1468 Pioneer Road
How does the City make sure our water is safe? Can the lead contamination that occurred in Flint Michigan happen here? Where does our drinking water come? Treatment plant staff will be on hand to conduct tours of the facility and will have numerous exhibits illustrating a wide variety of issues and practices related to water treatment, storage and distribution. This tour is part of the Traveling Smithsonian Water/Ways exhibit at the Goodhue County Historical Museum, open October 1-November 13. This tour does not require reservations to attend.
