March 10—Owl Search—Ages 9-15 w/parent, 16+ $5.00
Learn the calls and characteristics of the owls that call Red Wing home. We’ll also dissect an owl pellet to learn about their diets and habitats, and then caravan as a group in our own vehicles to a local location to listen for and search for owls. Can you spot an owl? Let’s put our new skills to the test! Dress for the weather and bring a headlamp or flashlight, we’ll spend a significant amount of time outside.
