February 17—February History Break Focuses on the Story of the African American Community in Red Wing—12-1PM—Come for an engaging and thought-provoking program on local history and race relations. Local historian, author, and educator Frederick Johnson will discuss his book Uncertain Lives: African Americans and Their First 150 Years in the Red Wing, MN Area. The program is free of charge, and copies of Johnson’s book are available for purchase and national history. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch, and beverages will be available for purchase
