Election Candidate Forums
The League of Women Voters (LWV) and the Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce will be collaborating to hold several candidate forums this year. LWV Red Wing has a long tradition of holding strictly non-partisan voter education events.
 
Each event will be held outdoors at the Red Wing Central Park Bandshell from 5PM to 7PM. The School Board Candidate dates are yet to be confirmed due to the large number of school board candidates.
 
September 10—MN House 21A, MN Senate 21, and Goodhue County Commissioner Candidates
September 15—Red Wing School Board Candidates
September 17—Red Wing City Council and Mayor Candidates
 
Candidates will be giving introductory statements and then answer questions from a LWV trained moderator on the bandshell stage. We are soliciting questions from the public prior to the events via a google form found on our candidate website: https://sites.google.com/lwvmn.org/lwvrwevents/home. During the time before and after candidates are on stage, they will be able to meet directly with voters in the public park.
