Community Conversation on Poverty—May 7—5:30-7:30PM
Leaders Partnering to End Poverty (LPEP) group, now called HANDS FOR HOPE, is hosting a Community Conversation on Tuesday, May 7 at River Bluff Education Center, 395 Guernsey Lane, enter Door #8. They are in the process of determining which specific direction they will take to combat poverty locally.  Come and share your thoughts on the 5 issues they are considering. (Financial Literacy, Homelessness, Affordable Housing, Youth Mentoring and Opportunity Gap). This is a FREE community event open to ALL.  Bring your friends, coworkers and family.  There will be a meal from 5:30-6PM, and the conversation will be from 6-7:30PM.  Please RSVP to Jillynne at jraymond@gced.k12.mn.us or 651-327-2426 by May 2. They want to hear from as many community members as possible.
