U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar’s Staff to Visit Red Wing—June 7—8-9AM—Minnesota State College Southeast
Klobuchar’s staff will join with local business and education leaders across Southern Minnesota to discuss local initiatives to help bridge the skills gap and highlight Klobuchar-backed legislation and funding to strengthen Minnesota’s workforce. In 2015, Klobuchar successfully pushed for a $5 million grant from the Department of Labor to strengthen partnerships between Minnesota community colleges and local businesses; Earlier this year, Klobuchar introduced her bipartisan American Apprenticeship Act, which would create and expand tuition assistance programs for participants in apprenticeship programs. The meetings are open to the public. Let your voices be heard!
