Plein Air Art Exhibit—Special Event—June 26—5PM-6:30PM
The Plein Air Exhibit at the Red Wing Depot Gallery provides a glimpse into our community through the eyes of the Plein air artists. Plein Air is French for “painting in the open air.” This year, 28 artists will come to Red Wing for the Plein Air Festival and paint the streets and sites of our community. The works of art on display in the gallery are all completed within the festival week. The Plein Air Exhibit conveys energy, emotion and the beauty of the Red Wing area. Red Wing Arts Plein Air Festival is recognized as a premier outdoor painting event in the upper Midwest. You are invited to a special event to experience this exhibit for yourself. There will be delicious food, beverages and door prizes and we hope to see YOU there!
