Earth Week Red Wing 2018 - Driven to Action
April 18—Agriculture and Climate Change—6:30PM—Red Wing Environmental Learning Center (ELC)
April 19—Capitalism and the Climate—6:30PM—Fair Trade Books.
April 21—Hike Barn Bluff—5:30AM-7:30PM—Join Friends of the Bluffs as they try to set a record for the most number of people to “Hike the Bluff” in one day. Activities include: 8AM—Trail Run with the Red Wing Trail Runners; 8AM-Noon—City of Red Wing “Putting Plans into Action” (Plans for the Bluff, Riverfront Trail to Colvill Park and Prairie Restoration Information); 9-10AM—Goodhue County Historical Society “Pop-Up Museum (bring artifacts and historical pictures to share); 9AM-3PM—City of Red Wing Carlson Kiln Tour; 10AM-3PM—Red Wing Public Library Story Walk; 11AM—City of Red Wing Kiln Tour; 11AM-Noon—Goodhue County Master Gardener “Flowers on the Bluff”; 11AM-3PM—Audubon Minnesota Community Program and Kid’s Activity; 1-2PM—Sunrise Lady Ellen Lentsch; 1-3PM—Red Wing Public Library “Walk & Write” (for young writers in grades 5 and up); 2-3PM—Goodhue County Master Gardener “Flowers on the Bluff”. Additional activities include Picnic on the Bluff (pack a lunch and enjoy the overlook); Geocaching; and He Mni Can/Barn Bluff Bingo.
